So one thing that has started in September are my weekly Rotary meetings. Every Rotarian in my club is very nice and some of them are going to take me different places in these coming months I'm looking forward to it very much. At my first meeting I made a brief introduction of my self in danish and I'm sure it was bad I was so nervous. Another thing that I did was go to an F.C Copenhagen game with Maria and her counselor Sebastian. It rained the whole time but I'm really glad I had the chance to go I had so much fun. The team won 3-0 and the crowd was very excited and energized from the win at the end. This month was also Maria's birthday and her host family (who are also my third family) had a brunch for her. It was really nice and there was cake.....which is the only reason I went ;). My host family has also taken me into Copenhagen a couple of times which was really nice and I had a great time whenever we went. For example one day they took me on a very touristy canal boat ride thing which was a great way to see all the cool buildings in Copenhagen. I also had a sleepover at Marley's house and I had a really good time watching movies and eating a horrible amount of junk food with her. I also had a another meet up with my group of friends from Introcamp. We call ourselves happy llama partly because we are weird and partly because its a great name. I also got to see Kiara again which is always good (I don't know why she has to live so far away ugh...). Another thing I had this month was district 1470's conference. It was a weekend event with all the exchange students in my district. On Saturday we started the day with a parade thing carrying flags through an unsuspecting town of people which I found to be hilarious. I was carrying the flag for Thailand because there are no people from Thailand in the district this year but there are plenty of Americans to carry different flags. Then after the parade we had a room set up with all the different countries for future outbounds from district 1470 to look at the different places they could go. After we presented our countries to very excited future students we got to go have a party. The theme was Christmas and I have no idea why but we had a traditional danish Christmas meal and we got to play a present stealing game.(which I think could break up friendships but that's ok). It was a long and tiring day but also very fun.
What I have written in this unorganized mess doesn't even begin to cover everything I have done in September. I really am so thankful for this opportunity and I feel like I have done enough things to fill up more than just a months worth of time which is great. I can hardly wait to see what other things I will be up to for the next 10 or so months.
